Ruby, a Nymph

Ruby is a Nymph discovered in a block of Indiana limestone by Larry Thibos in June, 2014. Subsequent excavations under the direction Mr. John Fisher, master sculptor, revealed a comely figure and serene countenance envied by all.

Ruby sits 18 inches tall, half that of a normal human. She weighs 75 lbs which, if scaled to full-sized human dimensions, would be 600 lbs. Hair and accessories were designed by Dazzlyn who named the piece to highlight the jewel dangling from Ruby's right earlobe.

Ruby won first prize for sculpture at the 2015 art show at Emeriti House, Indiana University. In July 2015 she moved to Washington D.C. to take up residence in Our Nation’s Capital. She currently resides in Detroit, Michigan USA.
